Forex Pip Calc calculator screen on iPhone — EUR/USD long setup with entry, stop loss, take profit and R:R targets

Built for Forex traders who move fast

Pip value, P&L, lot sizing and R:R — one screen, zero noise.

Instant P&L, risk, R:R

Type entry, stop and target — get risk, reward and the exact ratio in your account currency. Partial inputs still return what they can.

Offline pip math, live account-currency conversion

Pair specs ship inside the app — pip value, P&L, R:R, position size and margin are computed on-device. Pick USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, AUD, CAD or NZD as your account currency and live mid-rates (refreshed every 10 minutes) convert every value into it. The last snapshot stays cached for in-flight or low-signal use; if no rate path is available the calculator falls back to the pair’s quote currency.

67 pairs

Majors, minors, exotics, crosses, gold, silver and the major crypto CFD pairs. Lot size is a free decimal — type any value (0.5, 2.3, 0.001) or tap the MT4/5-style preset chips for 1.00 / 0.10 / 0.01 / 0.001.

Four calc modes

Price for entry/stop/target with live R:R, Pips for raw pip math, Risk for position sizing (equity + risk % + stop → lot), and Margin for leverage / capital-tied-up preview.

Frequently asked

Short answers to what traders ask us the most.

Does it work without internet?

Yes for the calculator itself. Every pair spec — pip size, lot size, decimal places — ships inside the app, so pip value, P&L, R:R, position sizing and margin are computed entirely on-device. When you set an account currency (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, AUD, CAD, NZD), the conversion uses the latest cached mid-rate; if no rate has been fetched yet for the pair's quote currency, the calculator transparently falls back to the quote-currency value so you always see a number.

How often do the live rates refresh?

The upstream feed updates every 10 minutes, so the app refreshes on launch, on app resume, and at most every 10 minutes — anything tighter would just re-download the same prices. The timestamp of the last refresh is shown in Settings → Live rates so you always know how fresh the conversion is, and a manual "Refresh now" button forces a fetch on demand.

Which account currencies are supported?

USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, AUD, CAD and NZD — the eight that retail FX accounts are typically denominated in. Pick yours in Settings → Account currency; every monetary value in the calculator (pip value, P&L, risk, reward) is then shown in that currency.

Which Forex pairs are supported?

67 instruments: the seven majors (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, AUDUSD, USDCAD, NZDUSD), all the popular minors and crosses, exotics like USDTRY, USDMXN, USDZAR, plus gold (XAUUSD), silver (XAGUSD) and the major crypto CFD pairs (BTCUSD, ETHUSD, LTCUSD, XRPUSD).

Which calculation modes does the app offer?

Four. Price mode takes entry, stop and target prices and returns risk, reward and the R:R ratio in your account currency — plus partial results if you only fill some fields. Pips mode is raw pip math — fastest when you already know the distance and just want the P&L for your lot size. Risk mode is a position-sizing calculator: enter your account equity, the percentage you want to risk and the stop distance in pips, and the app returns the exact lot size that risks that amount. Margin mode shows how much capital a trade ties up at a given lot and broker leverage (1:30 default, configurable in Settings).

Is it available on iPhone and Android?

Yes, the app ships for both iOS and Android and runs on iPad and Android tablets as well. Same interface, same offline calculator, same pair bundle.

How does the lot size input work?

Lot size is a free decimal field — type any value from 0.001 to 1000, exactly the way you do in MT4 / MT5 / cTrader. Quick-pick chips below the field set the conventional sizes in one tap (1.00 lot = Standard, 100,000 base units on FX; 0.10 = Mini; 0.01 = Micro; 0.001 = Nano, for fine-grained risk on small balances). Metals and crypto follow the standard broker conventions (gold lot = 100 oz, silver lot = 5,000 oz, BTC/ETH lot = 1 unit) — same chips, same numbers.

How does Pro billing work?

Pro is a single annual subscription at $34.99/year, billed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings — you keep access until the period ends.

Is this financial advice?

No. Forex Pip Calc is a calculation tool. The numbers it produces are based on the spec of each pair and the inputs you provide — it doesn't know your account, your broker's spreads or commissions, or live market conditions. Trade at your own risk.
